Grandma and Grandpa Visit--Day 1

We had a great day today! Jason's parents arrived last night (with Jack staring out the window anxiously waiting for them!), and after a good night's rest, we geared up for a day of fun. We had pancakes for breakfast, then Mom, Dad, Jason, Jack and Max went on a walk on the trail near our house, and spent some fun time at the park.

After eating lunch and taking quick naps, we got ready and headed to Holland. It's a great little town about 20 minutes outside of Grand Rapids. We walked around and stopped in to some cute shops and then had dinner at New Holland Brewing Company. They have really good food there. We came home and enjoyed ice cream cones out on the deck! It was a really great day, and we're looking forward to having more fun tomorrow! But, we're all worn out now, so I think we'll be turning in for early bedtimes tonight....ahhhhhh!
