Max and Momma

Tonight, Jason took Jack for a walk after dinner...so Max and I stayed in and spent time together...just the two of us. This doesn't happen very often, but I love it when it does!

So, little Max...tonight I'm freshly reminded of just a few reasons why I love spending time with you...

1. You laugh...A LOT! That belly laugh...there's no greater sound in the world!

2. You make ME laugh! I don't like unloading the dishwasher, but you are GREAT at throwing all of the silverware on the floor and looking up at me with those big brown eyes that ask, "What, Momma?" And I laugh...

3. We're buddies...me and you. You let me push you walk around the park with me while Jack and Daddy are playing...and we have so much fun imagining what it will be like when you're big enough to play, too!

4. You are the most content baby I have ever been around...you illustrate so clearly God's grace and love to me by your gentle spirit!

5. You are my boy...my special, sweet, second-born miracle that instantly grew my heart more than I ever imagined.

And, you are gonna be a wonderful big brother! I'm so proud of you, Max, and I love being your momma!
