Beach Trip Highlights--Day 1

We returned from our trip to the beach with my sister, Anna and her family yesterday afternoon. She has a two-year old boy, Nathan, and is expecting her second next month. Fortunately, our daily phone calls keep us connected because we don't get to see each other very often! Here are some highlights of our first day:

We went to the Boardwalk the first night we were there. We ate Thrasher's Fries (YUM!), funnel cakes, ice cream cones, and Fisher's Popcorn. And, so did the boys! :) Jason and Zak then took Nathan and Jack to the the sand playground while Anna and I rested for a bit. Two pregnant moms of toddlers...one in her last month; one in her first trimester...you get the idea!

Next, we headed to the kiddie rides. Anna and I used to ride the same rides when we were kids...it's amazing how little the Boardwalk has changed since we were children. Boy, did they have fun!

After the rides, it was time to go back to our hotel. We were all exhausted. Oh, and yes, Max did come with us! He was in his stroller while the boys played....eating popcorn and my funnel cake. And, that was all the entertainment he needed! :)

The boys are just so adorable together. Cousins are such a gift. It is so great for them that you two make time to be together.
