Harbor Day
While my sweet husband is engrossed in the final Harry Potter book, I'm going to do some blog updating.
The Friday before we left to come back home from vacation, we went to the Inner Harbor with my in-laws. It was a beautiful day, and we decided to take the Water Taxi around the harbor to the different spots we wanted to visit. Jack had never been on a boat before, and he LOVED it.
While we waited for the taxi, Grandpa had fun showing Jack fun things on the water...
Max had fun exploring the park...
The boys had so much fun on the boat with Grandma and Grandpa...
Jason and I had fun watching them! :) We stopped at the Inner Harbor area and had lunch at The Cheesecake Factory. It's one of my favorite places to eat! We walked around a bit after lunch, and Jack had fun playing with the wheel near the USS Constellation...
Our final stop was at Fells Point, where we all got ice cream at Maggie Moo's. It was a great way to end our day! The boys both fell asleep in the car on the way home. We had so much fun, and it was one of the highlights of our trip!
Such fun! I am now off to engross myself in the potter book! woohoo.
ReplyDeleteI can read your in-laws thoughts: "This is what it's all about!" Boy do they ALL look happy!
ReplyDeleteOhhhh, you were in Baltimore? I used to live not too far away. The aquarium up there was my favorite. Glad y'all had fun!
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous....we've never been able to get in to the Cheesecake Factory - we tried once when we were down to watch a Raven's game - but it was packed - I think T will take off from work a day this fall and we'll take the kids down to the aquarium - it should be less busy then...hopefully. We did end up getting slices of cheesecake to eat while walking up to the field!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like everyone was having a great time! I love it when the GP's get a chance to hang with the little ones!
