When The Clock Looks Anything Like This...

...3-year-olds should not be awake!

When Jack showed up at our bedroom door at 5:15 a.m. this morning, Jason sleepily uttered, "Whoever invented Daylight Savings Time should have to come over and babysit." Amen?

  3. Oh, Sarah, what a disaster! I think the only reason my kids got up at the normal time today was because they completely missed their naps yesterday. So we were miserable last night instead of this morning!

  5. ROTFL!!! Awww, that's rough! We all seemed to not be affected this year. Thank God, LOL. I'm a night owl and don't usually make it to bed until around 1. I was so tired last night, though.I ended upin bed by 10:30.

  10. So sorry for you. My third baby got up at 5am for the first six months of her life. I never had a single child that slept much and they never slept in. Now we have to haul them out of bed, hehe.

  12. That is sooo funny. Only because I am not having to go through it. They didn't have strange time when I was raising my children. Have a good day anyway. connie from Texas

  16. Most definitely. I personally think it is not natural to be up before the sun is ;-)

  17. Amen to that sister! Kyra didn't wake up that early, but we did have a 6:30am riser (early enough for me, after they've been waking up in the middle of the night for the past 3 weeks due to illness).

  18. Amen!! My mom asked me on Sunday morning if I enjoyed my extra hour of sleep. I said "You do remember I have little ones, don't you?"

This year there have been so many changes, the girls are already almost back on track. Last year it took Becca a whole month before she figured it out. :)

  19. we have these HUGE digital clocks in the kids' room...and even though they have yet to learn to tell time on a real one...they can repeat to us the following, "if there isn't the number 7 first then we can't come upstairs."

they can repeat it...not follow it.
