Peeking Out From Inside the Cookie Tin...
Helloooooooo, world! I have been happily savoring every moment with my family since I last wrote, and have set the computer aside to enjoy these precious people! We have enjoyed days brimming with fun and laughter, presents, cookies, stuffed french toast, pajamas, hot chocolate, wrapping paper, stories, and loads of new memories!
I have much to tell and share...but, Grandma and Grandpa (J's parents) are now at our house with us for a visit, and I want to spend every minute I can with them.SO, I'm just gonna leave you with a quick update about the baby (as promised each week!) I'm doing great...less than 4 weeks to go! I'm still feeling really well, and loving being pregnant. It's getting harder, but I am enjoying these last few weeks of having this little one squiggling around in my belly. I don't feel ready, but I don't feel not ready. Make any sense? I suppose I'm learning that with each child, God's timing and provision are just what I need...and it's always enough to keep me longing for His grace and turning to Him in prayer.
Well, I'm off to the playroom...there are a lot of new toys up there, and I don't want to miss out on the fun! But, before I go...here's a pic of me and our baby bean from yesterday. See, I told you I have an outie...even through a sweater!! :)
Hope you all are having a great weekend!
You are so cute with that baby belly!
ReplyDeleteGlad that you are enjoying your company.
You look great - even with an outie. The stuffed French toast looks so good! It's good to hear from you again. Enjoy those last 4 weeks - you know it'll go fast.
ReplyDeleteSo much fun to be had with new toys! Sounds like a delightful Christmas!
ReplyDeleteYou look so cute! These last weeks are going to fly by - enjoy them!
Oh, Sarah... you look SOOOOO pretty. I love this picture of you.
ReplyDeleteWhy is it that I seem to be the only woman in the world who did not look cute while pregnant.
ReplyDeleteYou and baby bean look beautiful.
Wow, you do look fabulous. It's hard to believe you are already 8 months along. You don't even look it. Have fun with your fam this weekend.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy to hear that you're enjoying your time with your family. And you look just fabulous! Don't even look 4 weeks from having a baby. I can't wait to hear what you have! Enjoy being with your family!
ReplyDeleteMy advice before this 3rd little one arrives, go out for an evening with just your hubby...maybe an overnight if you can swing it. Might be awhile after that, but it's a wonderful "awhile."
you look beautiful as a pregnant woman. i'm glad you're enjoying the pregnancy. i enjoyed mine, too. and i understand how you feel. you're ready to have the baby and not be pregnant and yet there's something special and comfortable about being pregnant so you could stay that way - for a while longer, anyways ;] enjoy these last few weeks.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! You are SO cute! I so look forward to "meeting" your little one. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteYou look great! Can't wait to be rejoicing in little bean's arrival! It seems like yesterday we were waiting for Baby M.
ReplyDeleteDid I tell you how great you look? Love the outie----a bit envious since I didn't have a cute one like yours. Mine was just a flatie. :)
I have to agree with the masses on this one...you look great! Glad you were able to enjoy every bit of Christmas.
ReplyDeleteYep, I'm agreeing with the others - you are so cute!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy these last few weeks before this little bean comes. I wish I lived closer so that I could come and help you out once the little one arrives - I'll have to send Ginger in my place! :-D
I also wanted to tell you I've started reading Hinds' Feet on High Places - and I am loving it!
Enjoy your time with family!
Wow, I thought I posted a comment, but it's not on here so here goes another one.
ReplyDeleteYup, Baby Bean has grown since I last saw you! You are cute as ever. I loved pregnancy and felt lonely after delivery even though I was holding my joy...weird.
Anxiously awaiting the big day with you.
wow... seems like a million years ago that jack was born, and here it is -the birth of yet another little one. time does fly! savor the moment!
ReplyDeleteSar, I love that pic :) so beautiful! hope you had a great time with mom and dad...we'll have to chat soon about coming in february...love you all!
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE ultrasound pictures! they speak volumes to the argument that life begins at conception!
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing.
Look at you, all pretty and pregnant!! You are the kind of pregnant that moms like me are envious of...you look just beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time with your family. Happy New Year!!
You look so cute. What a brave girl you are to publish your pregnant picture, but then again... why not, if you look like that?!
ReplyDeleteI just read back through some older posts and I'm glad to hear you made it through the Christmas Bug without being sick on Christmas. What is it about Christmas and the stomach flu??? We didn't get it, but people around me are dropping like flies. My brother, John's brother, friends, etc... I'm just waiting, but oh, well, we had a healthy Christmas Day. Lots of fun.
Enjoy the kids enjoying the gifts. Have fun, and Happy New Year to you!
Love,
Jen
