Welcome Home, Lincoln!
Home.
There really is no place like it! We've been home for about 24 hours now, and we are doing great! Jack and Max are having a ball with Grandma and Grandpa, and just returned from a trip to the treehouse. They are being wonderfully spoiled! I have been getting a lot of rest and Lincoln has been sleeping a lot, too. He is so very content and we are enjoying every minute with him. Jason and I have decided that he sleeps best with the playful sounds of his brothers around him...after all, he spent many months listening to them play together!
I know many of you are anxious to hear how the meeting between the boys went! I promise to share soon...but, the storytelling must include pictures, and I haven't had a chance to upload them yet. Go figure. ;)
So, I'll leave you with a picture of our new baby boy in his homecoming outfit, and his new favorite accessory!
And, if you're wondering how I'm spending my time...
Life has never been sweeter.
What precious moments - enjoy them all!
ReplyDeleteSarah - he is just precious. I am glad you are getting rest and enjoying your new little bundle. What fun for the boys to have grandma and grandpa there to spoil them. What a blessing for all of you!
ReplyDeleteThat is either a jumbo paci or a really tiny and precious little baby. I think it's the latter.
ReplyDeleteLove the photos and can't wait to see more.
Welcome home.
Oh, how those pictures make me yearn for another little bundle to hold. There's nothing like snuggling with a warm little baby on a cold winter day, feeling their breath against your neck and their back moving up and down with each little breath that they take. A gift from God to be sure!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable little man in stripes and wonderful picture of the two of you. His little head and fingers are so small! Can't wait to see him!!!
ReplyDeleteLauren
Oh they make me want another one! NOthing like a little warm body to snuggle up with on the sofa.
ReplyDeleteThere's just something about a baby, huh?
He's just perfect!
I knew it. He does smell wonderful doesn't he.
ReplyDeleteSmiles!
Precious Sarah!
ReplyDeleteI'm right there with you. :)
Lincoln looks so tiny---how do you produce such little ones and I produce such gigantic ones?......
Welcome home too!
Are you kidding me?!?! In all your spare time (hee hee) you really should start a business in photography. Share your talent with the rest of the world.

ReplyDeleteThe photo of the two of you really shows how small Lincoln is. I have been telling the world how beautiful is he and how much I loved holding him. What a true and wonderful miracle.
ReplyDeleteI was right around the corner from your house tonight and thought about you and the family. Glad things are going well. If you are tired of having a new baby around I will come and get him. I think I could handle the 2AM feedings for night or two, hehe.

Home is a wonderful place, isn't it? I too love that outfit on Lincoln. And the accessory? It's still Linus' constant companion too. He has exactly one pacifier and it's that orange one from the hospital. We've tried all sorts of different ones, but he won't give it up! Here's to many sweet moments and a smooth transition.
