Here We Go...
The day has come.
I am venturing out for the first time with all three of my boys. Alone.
Destination: MOPS
Weather: Sunny, 23 degrees. NOT snowing!
Team Conditions:
Mommy: Showered. Dressed. (a small miracle)
Jack: Sprinting around the sofa. Half nekked.
Max: Munching on waffles. Still in pajamas.
Lincoln: Dressed. Swinging.
And I'm blogging...I must be nuts! (Note to future self: You were nuts!)
I've got 30 minutes 'til I need to leave. I think I can do this.
Strike that. I know I can do this!
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."
2 Timothy 1:7

Go, Sarah, go!!!!

ReplyDeleteSusan
You can do it! It isn't easy, but you will do it and feel great about it. Have fun at MOPS!
ReplyDeleteI remember my first time out with three, it makes you feel like you could conquer the world! :0) Mine are a bit older now and it gets so much easier, hang in there!
ReplyDeleteYou go girl! The first time is the hardest and it'll just get easier from here!
ReplyDeleteIn no time, your team will be marching down the store aisles in the mall!!
I can't wait to hear all about it! I remember venturing out with my 2 for the first time. I just sat in the car and cried.
ReplyDeleteCried like a baby!! Wasn't much better the second time I tried.
I am sure you did great! MOPS is a great place to go because of the childcare! If you can just make it through the door... :)
How did it go? Hope you were replenished at MOPS!
ReplyDeleteYou CAN do it! I remember when it only took a couple minutes to get out the door. Now with three, it's like a twenty minute prep time just to get everyone ready!
ReplyDeleteHave fun!

Sounds so familiar! Hope all went well. I'd love to say it gets easier, but... ;)
ReplyDeletehey, how did it go? I went to IKEA yesterday w/the kids and we had lunch there and Zach threw an applsauce container--pretty much full and it almost hit a lady. yikes! besides that it was fun; hope you had a nice time. love ya!
ReplyDeleteI can still remember like it was yesterday taking all three out and about. It will soon feel like normal life again, but for now...enjoy the adventure!
ReplyDeleteWay to go Sarah! Getting them out the door is half the battle. :)
ReplyDeleteGoing out! Fun...but...What do you do when you go to a store without carts!? Or like the library? And the grocery store has carts, but when you put the baby (in carrier) into the back of the cart and toddler in seat, where do you put the food? Hmmm, questions of a mom with 2 under 2...I think I'll just stay home, unless Julia or my mom go with me! Hope all went well!
ReplyDeleteThinking good thoughts for you!
