The 75% Off Easter Clearance Post
This post is so overdue that the dyed eggs are all rotten and we're fighting off cavities from the insane amount of jelly beans we ate.
The working title for this post was "One of these things is not like the other." That is the working title of my life as Momma to Jack and Max.
Blonde. Brownish.
Skinny as a rail. Chubby.
Constant talker. Thinker.
Wild. Tame.
And on Easter, after Grandma and Grandpa hid plastic eggs full of jelly beans in their backyard for the boys to find, their differences were on center stage!
Jack...

Jack...

So cute! Loving the title too! :)
ReplyDeleteSo, do you think the "tame" and "thinker" attribute for the "chubby"?
Cause all mine are skinny as rails and none of them are tame or stop to think! haha
what a fun post! nice job on the pictures. the contrast between the two boys was really interesting. i wonder if/how those characteristics will change in the coming years...
ReplyDeletei loved this post! the pictures are great. what a joy to celebrate the difference in your boys personalities but yet they will balance each other, love each other and be brothers forever - love it! i love the borders on the pic's - how did you do that??
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Lincoln will be more like one of his brothers than the other or a mix of the two. It will be interesting to see his little personality develop :o)
Awww....they are both adorable... no matter the differences.
ReplyDeleteSo cute and I love the borders on the pics! Ruthis and Anna in some ways are night and day and in other ways they have totally rubbed off on each other (yikes). I wonder if the same will happen to Jack and Max or if they'll continue to be really different. And, like Kristen, I wonder how Lincoln will play into it (in much the same way I'm anxious to see how Lily changes things here).
ReplyDeletei'm with tracy... they are both adorable!
ReplyDeletebut isn't it amazing how different kids can be. it will be fun watching lincoln's personality unfold and see which brother he'll be similar to - or how different he might be from the both of them.
cute, Zach's like Max; he'd find an egg and sit down and eat all of it's contents and then move on and do the same with the next; Johnathan was all about who found the most and Audrey kinda took her time and enjoyed herself--she pulled me over to show me a beautiful flower she found. :) it is so cool that they're all a little different.
ReplyDeleteaww..... that is so sweet.
ReplyDeleteOh, you just wait! Things change..at least they did for me when my 2 oldest, got older. It's so fun & your boys are just darling. I love the differences in all our kiddos.
ReplyDeleteCute shots! Wonder if they'll stay like that vs. how much is age. I think a lot of things will remain. Course, so much of T is just being three and I wonder what it will look like at 4 :)
ReplyDeleteGotta love brothers!
Isnt it funny that two kids who come from the same parents and are raised the same way can be soooo different. It is fun to observe!
ReplyDeleteLove the pics! I get a kick out of watching my kids blossom into their own personalities. I think a lot has to do with birth order!:-)
What a great post - you really should scrapbook the pictures with your thoughts. It's great! The borders on the picturess are really cute too!
ReplyDeleteLove your title and you still have the cutest children.
ReplyDeleteToo cute! Maybe Baby Lincoln will be a mixture of them both!
ReplyDeleteThe commentary with the pictures is just so fun and well done. I know my parents had to use totally different parenting styles for me sister and me. You're such a good mama....and you have SUCH cute boys!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos!!! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI love a good clearance sale? Especially when there is Easter candy involved. Love the pictures!!
