The girls just watched that a few weekends ago when it was on TV. Anna's comment to me was, "That was a GOOD Mommy and Daddy movie" (i.e. anything other than a cartoon). So what is your favorite part? Mine is when they tidy up the nursery - of course!
Um...I haven't seen the whole thing!! All I remember is the spoonful of sugar part. I may need to rent this for my kids (and me!!) I hope I like it as much as you.
Funny, we just rented that from the library last week. I was hesitant because it wasn't a cartoon, and the beginning is a little slow, but Kyra loved it!! On to Wizard of OZ.
Oh, this was my favorite movie growing up. I was in PM kindergarten, so when my big sister got up in the morning for second grade, I would watch Mary Poppins every morning, then go to school in the afternoon. :)
Oh, that's SUCH a good movie. I'd never watched the whole thing until I had kids. We've just discovered ET and Annie. *Big Sigh* When did they grow up?
Oldie but definitely goodie! We love that one. Also, Music Man and Sound of Music. I know they are long and have a slow part or two, but the music is what always drew Jules in. Glad your boys liked it!
definitely one of my favorites. i actually saw this for the first time in a theater - i know, i'm showing my age.
unfortunately, i had my kids watch it when they were a little too old and they didn't like it. the older they get, the more action they want. i'm glad your boys enjoyed it.
