Trimmings
Last year, we spent the entire holiday season somewhat embarrassed that then three year-old Jack pointed at every Christmas tree he saw and observed, "Look,
h-ornaments."
As not to be outdone by his brother, we pulled out the Christmas decorations this year and two year-old Max proudly shouted, "It's the p-ornaments."
We tried not to snicker and snort. And, failed.
And, we tried to resist the urge to get him to repeat it at every opportunity. All season long.
But, we failed at that, too.
Miserably.

Hmmm - What kind of parents are you anyway?
ReplyDeleteI would have a hard time not having him repeat it too! I remember Kyra saying something funny too that we kept having her repeat (although I can't repeat it!).
ReplyDeletePS At least Jack didn't say Hornyments!

That is hilarious!
ReplyDeleteHehehe...that's awesome.
ReplyDeleteI changed my daughter's "stinky" diaper yesterday, and she proudly announced, "Oooh, Mama- so KINKY!" "no, dear - STINKY." "KINKY!"
I didn't win that argument. ;-)

baby talk, too adorable! At a Christmas dinner, a little one was telling me that Ethan found the "irections" to his toy. And she kept saying, "look, he found the irections, he found the irections!"
ReplyDeleteKind of gets you thinking about a whole new line of handmades for next year - hmmmm - this could be funny...
ReplyDeleteLOL! Out of the mouths of babes, right?!
ReplyDeleteHilarious! I wonder what the third boy will come up with??? hee-hee. And your 25 days of Christmas cookies was AWESOME! I loved reading every single post (though I didn't comment on many). More importantly, I can't wait to try many of your delicious recipes. You seriously should compile a book.

ReplyDeleteWhere are you?
ReplyDeleteOh they make me laugh. We've missed you all. Ruthie and Anna keep saying, "When are we going back to Jack and Max's house? They're so silly!"
