Painting Within the Lines
He used to scribble.
Recklessly.
With big fat crayons.
Now he's painting.
Painstakingly dipping his brush after each stroke.
And, staying in the lines.
Where, oh where, did my baby boy go?

I remember when my kids began to do thing far better than me. They could write better, and achieve things I never imagined. Ugh, the seasons continue to change and the once little babes grow up on us, LOL
ReplyDeleteHe's your first and somehow you will always find his accomplishments wonderful. When the youngest starts to do all those amazing things you will long for the clock to turn back.
