Sprinkler Face

There are so many things I could write about this series of pictures.

Not the least of which is to tell you that I took these pictures with my zoom lens from a galaxy far, far, away and was no where near this atrocity. My husband, however, was front and center.

Laughing his proverbial butt off.

And, reminding me from afar that this is how brothers express their undying love and affection for one another. Well, this and wrestling. And, that I'd better get used to it.

I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO HAPPY TO BE A GIRL IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!

So, I will let you experience this one without the sympathetic, girly ramblings of The Momma, and just repeat to you what I've been told.

This is love.

  4. Anyone else feel already sorry for Lincoln when he's the one being picked on by the two of them?

  5. I thought the same thing, Aim. He looks just like Jason, and I can remember a time or two, that exact face on Jay. Me too, Sarah,...I'm glad I'm a girl!

  8. Yeah--I don't get it but having raised boys, I have seen it and worried and wondered over that kind of alien play. However, my adult though still-boy kids have survived and thrived and I am unaware of any emotional scarring. Whew! Glad I am a female, too. Very, very cute photos!

  18. Sarah ~ So thankful to read this post today. I grew up in a household of girls and never knew that boys loved like this. Now I have two boys of my own and I always wonder if they are normal...if I've screwed up in some way. And I was so refreshed to see the guy-love on your post today. Thanks so much for sharing it with us!!!!
