Alright, Alright. Play It Again, Sam.
So, I posted pictures this week of my chocolate-covered baby laughing during Our Favorite Game.
Yes, there is a video of me playing this game with my first baby - as some of you remembered.
I posted it here on this blog many, many moons ago. And, because I am so over the whole "do your hair" thing and "get out of pajamas by noon" craze that swept through housewifedom in the 90's, I'm celebrating my daytime signature look and reposting this video - for those of you who still come by to read my little blog and want to laugh all over again, and for those of you who've never seen it.
Disclaimers: I'm in my pajamas. With my hair askew. And, with no knowledge whatsoever that my husband was going to turn on me.
BY TURNING THE CAMERA ON ME!
I paddled him for it, sent him to bed without supper, and we never spoke of it, again.
However, as a result of my husband's wandering camera-itis (for which I now love him more than ever), we have on film this priceless snapshot of our first baby, our Jack, laughing his blond little head off at his "I will do anything to get you to laugh like that", pajama-clad, crazy-haired Momma.
Try. Try to watch it without laughing. It simply can't be done.
I can't watch the video. I get a message that it's a private video, and I should accept your friend request. ?

ReplyDeleteIt's a classic! There is nothing like a babies laugh!
ReplyDeletei love how babies (and children) hold nothing back with their laughter... so sincere... right down to his little hand slapping the tray.
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Oh, and loved the M.R. Ducks t-shirt... representing Maryland's finest! (I used to live on the Eastern Shore.)
ReplyDeleteI showed this to Elizabeth - I should have videotaped HER laughing at Jack's laughing!!!! She keeps saying, "Again!"
ReplyDeleteThanks for the very much needed Friday morning laugh! There's nothing quite like the laughter of small children.
ReplyDeleteSoooo love the video of precious Jack and Lincoln. It reminded me of me. I did the same thing with my two boys. I was/am goofy and didn't care....whatever it took to make them laugh!
ReplyDeleteLove that giggle.
