We had to stop using breakable ornaments years ago when we caught one of our daughters biting into one as if it were an apple. Somehow, she managed to break it but not cut herself or get any in her mouth.
OH NO! I'm so sorry. We were at a friend's house when their youngest (or 2nd youngest) broke the mom's absolute favorite ornament. It was just "stuff" but it's still hard. Helps you put *everything* in perspective though. Hopefully it's easily replaced. :)
I have to admit that made me smile. As long as nobody got hurt!

ReplyDeleteOh no! Trust me, I've had my share of treasure broken, but in time it's all just "stuff" and it doesn't really matter. Poor little Lincoln.
