Eight Months

Whitman turned eight months old yesterday.

He has been such a precious, precious gift to us. Watching my older boys embrace this new baby with nothing but love in their hearts for him has made Whit's entrance into our family joyously wonderful.

Their love and care for him and our shared joy over Whit's every accomplishment have bonded our family into this very close knit party of six.

I could signify his eight month birthday with a picture of him smiling.

Or laughing.
Or crying.
Or eating.
Or playing with his feet.
Or waking up.
Or going to sleep.

But, when you're the youngest of four brothers, and you think they're the coolest, most amazing people in the world, your eight month-old face almost always looks just like this.

  2. Holey SCHMOKES!! He has grown so much! Look at that hair! That fabulous hair! And those cute little legs... And that look of surprise.

Whitman looks like all your family rolled into one. Amazing!!

Yeah, he's gonna keep up with his brothers in no time flat, I can tell.

Since you already have an "Aunt Em", can I be your "Fake Aunt Em"?

  5. He's as darling as his big brothers. No doubt he's a beautiful little boy.

If he ever needs a break from the brotherhood, just send him to my house for some one on one. I'll send him back with his cheeks all out of shape from too much kissing on them.
