Cow Appreciation Day!

We dressed like cows tonight.

Yes, we did. All six of us.

Because the only thing we love more than Chick-fil-A, is FREE Chick-fil-A!

I didn't make elaborate costumes for my buddies.

Momma and Daddy's t-shirts.
Black construction paper.
Chick-fil-A "Eat Mor Chikin" signs.
Duct tape. (Classy.)
Hats w/construction paper ears.
A onesie and black knee-high socks for le bebe.

We were a happy little cow family.

We arrived at our local Chick-fil-A to smiles and cheers from the workers who said, "AWESOME, guys. Y'all can have anything you want!"

We got our picture taken with the Chick-fil-A cow. They printed and framed it for us to take home. (My husband was such a good sport. It takes a real man to let his wife duct tape black construction paper spots and a Chick-fil-A sign to his t-shirt in the name of a free meal.)

But, this little baby stole the show. He captivated everyone who walked by us by not only his cuteness, but by inhaling with pure delight an entire kids meal all on his own.

He took everything in and laughed and giggled and smiled at anyone who would look at him all night long.

I love sharing special times like this with these four little guys. I hope they remember nights like this with fondness and joy - even if they think I was a total goober for dressing them up like cows.

I love being their Mom.

And, I think they're the cutest little cows in North Carolina.

  1. Call me a goober, too. We went to CFA for dinner tonight, too. We taped construction paper spots to our clothes, and made cow masks, too.

  2. Did I use the word "too" enough times?

  3. Just amazing. As I read your link on FB before seeing the photos, I wondered how you could possibly dress up like cows. My Sarah, you are so creative. What fun!! As you say, anything for a free meal.

  5. Y'all look great. And W is so cute! We printed out the CFA printable "costume" and taped it to our clothes. Six free kid meals and one free adult meal made it all worth it. I had to tape the baby's costume to his stroller b/c he kept pulling it off of himself but they still gave it to us for free. Love CFA.

  6. Love it!
I have only had the opportunity to eat at Chik-Fil-A once since they don't have them out here (sad face). I would totally dress like a cow too! :)
