The Great Big Short Shots 365 Catch-Up!

Since we've been back from vacation, a whole bunch of things have been goin' on around here:

1. My computer crashed. Like the hard drive is toast. Done. No way of fixing it. Ever.

2. Because I back up my hard drive very regularly, I didn't lose anything.

3. I praised Jesus for my backed up hard drive.

4. I have been so stinkin' tired. We went on vacation for a few weeks, and it took me a few weeks to recover. I'm feeling much more rested now.

5. I kinda lost that bloggy feeling. I cracked open my computer ONCE in three weeks. And, I liked it. A lot.

6. I've been working on some work projects that I have LOVED. But, they've been taking up my computer time and this blog has been on ye olde back burner.

7. My father-in-law had emergency heart surgery back home, and we took a whirlwind trip to be with him and our family. (He's doing SO great now. Praising Jesus for that, too!)

And, mostly - I've just been getting back at life. Finishing up the summer. Enjoying visits from family and friends. Getting the boys back to school. Starting fall sports. Cooking. Cleaning. Laundry. All the things that make up life for a thirty-something, frazzled, stay-at-home Mom.

But, this week, I have FINALLY finished getting my photos updated in my Short Shots 365 Project. I gave myself much grace as I've worked through them - not rushing, but enjoying sorting and editing, and I'm finally ready to share them all.

I am going to finish this project. Even though finishing isn't always easy for me, I am determined to finish this year of photos. And, joyfully!

My husband and I took a quick trip to New York City together. We weren't there to sightsee, just to have some time away together. It was fabulous!
